Abstract

Alzheimer disease (AD) is a common cause of dementia. Symptoms of AD begin with progressive memory failure, after many years of asymptomatic pathophysiology of brain cells. In the majority of studies published between 2011-2022, it was observed that most researchers focusing on how the disease can be detected early did so with the use of medical equipment such as MRIs and CT scans. In other words, how can the illness be identified in the preclinical stage, given that it has three stages: preclinical, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia. According to the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the Alzheimer's Association, many advantages can be gained by early detection, early management with medicines and application of the protective value can halt illness development. Many neurologists feel that future planning is heavily reliant on early diagnosis in order to maintain brain function.
