Employing Folk Literature In The Political Upbringing Of The Child In The Light Of The Requirements Of Performance Competencies

Abstract

The present study aimed at employing folk literature in the political upbringing of the child in light of the requirements of performance competencies. The descriptive analytical approach was used. The participants of the study were (120) early childhood female teachers. The instrument of the study was a well-designed questionnaire for collecting data. The results showed that: The percentage of employing folk literature ranged between (65.31: 57.33), and the competencies were achieved to a large degree, arranged in descending order as follows: Emotional Competencies, then cognitive competencies, then performance competencies. It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the opinions of the participants.
