Abstract

The defensive mechanisms that the individual uses in order to obtain comfort and get rid of anxiety are among the important reasons that affect the course of his life, which is (drop) of the most important types, which the researcher chose as a topic for his research, the research was divided into four chapters, the first chapter included (the methodological framework), which included the research problem, which came with the following question: What is projection in the Arabic theatrical text, and also included the importance of research and the need for it, most notably studying the concept of psychological projection and socially, and shedding light on the concept of projection in the Arab theater, The chapter also included the goal of the research, which is to know the projection in the Arab theatrical text, and it also included the limits of the research and ended with defining the terms and defining them linguistically, idiomatically and procedurally.
