Cyber Sex Trafficking- A New Way Of Exploitation

Abstract

The trafficking and prostitution are not a new concept but of course the one of the most controversial and toughest question which the society has ever answered due to its partial and religious structure from ages. The journey of the prostitution in has downgraded from very agreeable to the discarded population in the society. The definition of trafficking is  speaks about procuring, taking and even inducing a person for the sake of prostitution even attempt to procure and attempt to take or cause a person to carry on prostitution amounts to trafficking. Further we can also say trafficking” means “the procurement, recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring or receipt of persons, legally or illegally, within or across borders, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of giving or receiving payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for monetary gain or otherwise”. The Trafficking Protocol, which had 117 signatories and as of November, 2018 there are 173 parties, defines human trafficking as:


 The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring or receipt of persons, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labor or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal, manipulation or implantation of organs;[1]
