Abstract

The research work explores the healthcare industry's possibilities to secure patient data using hyper ledger Fabric. The Electronic Health Record (EHR), which is highly sensitive, is the current option in healthcare for storing and sharing medical records. Due to a lack of trustworthy and dependable healthcare data sharing mechanisms, the majority of EHR data sharing is still done by mail. As a result, the patient-related is vulnerable to security breaches. Blockchain has the potential to revolutionize healthcare by bringing the patients at the center of the system and increasing health data protection and accessibility. Blockchain is a decentralized architecture that provides cryptographic data integrity, security, and anonymity, as well as smart contracts for data access.  The paper covers several hyper ledger Fabric ideas and provides Based on the hyper ledger Fabric platform, a permission Blockchain system solution for storing and sharing healthcare records. Patients have complete control over their medical data and can grant or revoke access to clinicians using simple grant and revoke processes. It also discusses the challenges that must be overcome and issues Before Hyper ledger Fabric can be successfully adopted in healthcare systems, these issues must be handled.
