Abstract

Steganography is the discipline of enclosing any form of data message inside another data file in such a
fashion that it hides the essence of the hidden data at all. It can be exercised to image, speech, text, and
video files. In this paper, a modified version of the Least Significant Bit (LSB) approach has been used
and then image segmentation is applied to it to hide and then to recover the speech signal. The
experimental result shows that the proposed method produces excellent quality stego-images that can
easily combat optical and analytical attacks. The work of hiding speechsignals in an image and then
