Abstract

This study aims to address the gap in understanding the symbolic connotations and aesthetics of abstract vision in Islamic architecture and to relate it to the spiritual component in every place and at any time. The gap is due to difficulties reading the Shia Islamic artistic plane and visual tools. The study's methodology involves using semiotics as a modern critical tool to analyze the spiritual component of Islamic architecture. The researchers interpret the symbolic connotations of various Islamic architectural elements through analytical and implicit readings.
