Abstract
The act of speech is a two-way process that involves understanding the speech itself, listening to it, and listening to it. Pragmatics covers all types of speech acts, in particular, urging, asking, threatening, ordering, thanking, demanding, etc., and this article focuses on the analysis of Korean speech acts. More precisely, the expression of this act of speech in the verb “주다”, which joins the leading verb and acts as an auxiliary, is considered.
