The article examines discourse as a phenomenon that includes an extremely wide cultural sphere. The phenomenon of "gastronomic communication" is described, and attention is also paid to the key aspect of gastronomic discourse - communication. This article describes the classification of gastronomic terms, their specific aspects. How to translate gastronomic terms, their use in the translation process in transformations, how the menu and its content are cross-cultural. A theoretical answer to such questions can be found in the article.
