Quality of family relations and its relationship to mental health of children in the Kingdom of Jordan

Abstract
The family is the basic component of societies, its affects it throughout his life, as because mental health is the most important characteristic of a normal individual who can be an active individual in a society, as well as a driving force towards the growth of a modern creative society, it was necessary to highlight relationship between the quality of family ties and its relationship to children mental health. The source of information in this research based on a sample of jordanian family’s children, their number was (276). To achieve the objectives of this study, two scales for quality of family relations and mental health were designed. Study reached many results confirmed what previous arab and foreign studies found, the most important results were that there is a relationship between variables from the point of view of the members of the study sample, as well as, there are no statistically significant differences between the sex, age, number of family members, family income, place of residence, parental education level and answers of the study sample members
