Professional and ethical potential of an individual is a complex integrated education, which is a combination of real professional and moral needs, personal capabilities, means of their implementation, and conscious professional actions in situations of moral choice. The structural components of the individual’s professional and ethical potential are: needs, opportunities, means, professional activities, situations of moral choice that form its integrity and unity. Structural components contextually reflect the main functions of this potential: cognitive-value, moral-regulatory, moral-communicative. The criteria of a student’s professional and ethical potential are: cognitive-value, moral-regulatory, moral-communicative. The selected conditions in the educational process of the University are implemented sequentially, in stages from the cognitive-value to the moral-regulatory and then to the moral-communicative stage through pedagogical and methodological support: the educational subprogram “Professional and ethical potential”.
